Science takes a right turn...

Just a short note for those interested in Global Warming, Climate Change, Carbon Footprints, etc. The show is over. Clean out your desk, and look for a real job. For decades, Greenies have been valiantly fighting to change the mind-set of the world, moving away from traditional viewpoints such as Capitalism/Socialism, East/West, Al Gore/Oil Industry, etc. Well...it's over. Without the funding, the entire movement collapses like a house of cards.

So, I guess it's back to chasing Whaling Ships, with dingies...

Michael Glantz, a senior political scientist and author who has studied the impacts of climate on society since the early 1970s, is one of the world's most sought-after authorities on the societal impacts of climate... He was the first social scientist the National Center for Atmospheric Research hired when he came on 34 years ago. In 2005, he became the director of NCAR's Center for Capacity Building. But starting Monday, he added unemployed to that list. NCAR has decided to close Glantz's program, known for its cutting edge social science research.
